This is one of my most favorite songs. Lots of joy in it. But writing it was frought with intrigue and danger (just kidding). I wrote this song twice, which may raise a few eyebrows. The first time I wrote this song, I was very pleased with it but, having left it on the floor of the apartment my first wife and I were living in, either she or I inadvertantly threw it away. I searched high and low for it but, alas, I had to live with the fact that this song was gone. Later, years later, I woke up one Saturday morning determined to re-write that song. I carefully constructed what I feel is a much better song than that first one I lost. The ticks on the bottom of the 2nd page are me counting off the syllables so that the meter is right. Believe me, I was relieved to be able to say this song was written, even better than before, and never to be lost again. Vic
